CDL Class B Driver

Venture Dynamics is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to support transportation needs in an active shipyard and industrial environment. This position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License, a good driving record, and the ability to obtain access to controlled military installations. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to operate assigned vehicles in accordance with site and transportation requirements. Assignments are project-based and may continue based on performance and contract demand, with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire with select clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B commercial vehicles safely while supporting daily shipyard and project transportation requirements.
• Perform CDL Class B Driver duties in accordance with applicable traffic laws, site procedures, and established operating requirements.
• Transport assigned materials, equipment, or personnel as directed within authorized project and facility areas.
• Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report identified vehicle concerns.
• Maintain safe vehicle operation while working around active production areas, equipment, and personnel.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to obtain base access (DBIDS) as required by the military installation.
• Ability to safely operate assigned Class B commercial vehicles.
• Ability to follow site-specific driving instructions and established transportation procedures.
• Reliable transportation is required to report to the assigned work location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous CDL Class B Driver experience in a shipyard, industrial, construction, or similar work environment.
• Previous experience operating vehicles on military installations or controlled-access facilities.
• Current or previous DBIDS/base access is preferred.
