About the job #1013 - QA Automation Analyst

Job brief - Opportunity only available for Latam Professionals

We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Analyst to support a business-critical pricing-request solution with complex business rules, approval workflows, API-based processing, and integration dependencies. The role will establish repeatable functional and regression testing practices, convert subject-matter expertise into reusable test assets, and progressively automate stable, high-value regression scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Learn business workflows, user roles, approval paths, pricing rules, exception scenarios, integration touchpoints, and production support patterns through structured sessions with SMEs and developers.
  • Review available user stories, defects, API or Postman assets, Application Insights information, release history, and existing regression notes to build an accurate quality baseline.
  • Design and execute functional, negative, boundary, exploratory, regression, and integration test scenarios for PAR releases and production-impacting changes
  • Perform defect retesting and targeted regression based on change impact and release scope.
  • Partner with SMEs to validate unexpected results and distinguish defects from intended business behavior.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for repeatable web, API, and integration scenarios using the approved Central Testing framework and project tooling.
  • Integrate automated tests with source control and CI/CD pipelines where practical, and publish execution results and evidence.
  • Work as the full-time QA focal point for the application while partnering with Central Testing for standards, governance, automation guidance, and escalation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Advanced English B2/C1 to ensure communication across functional teams.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software quality assurance experience across web applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise solutions.
  • Strong experience designing and executing functional, regression, negative, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or a comparable test-management platform.
  • Practical API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, REST clients, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and backend data validation for troubleshooting and result verification.
  • Experience building or maintaining automated regression tests using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or a comparable framework.
  • Ability to translate demonstrations, business discussions, user stories, and defect history into structured scenarios and reusable test assets.
  • Strong defect investigation, evidence collection, analytical thinking, and root-cause collaboration skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently in an environment with evolving requirements, incomplete documentation, and shared dependencies.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing pricing, quoting, approval, workflow, or rules-driven applications.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and producing execution reports or quality gates.
  • Exposure to performance or load testing using Postman, k6, JMeter, or similar tools.
