#888 - Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Job Opportunity available for professionals located preferably in Bogota, Colombia, but Colombia is a must.

The position is remote, the only requirement is that the engineer should be open to working in the client's office in Bogota for 1-2 days when the Manager from US is traveling there, for specific occasions throughout the year, no more than once every 3-6 months.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English language (B2/C1 Level).
• +5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• Developing external customer-facing React front-end applications in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficient with C# / .NET in developing back-end applications.
• Implementing server-side APIs and/or backend for frontends (BFFs).
• Partnering with UI/UX designers and leveraging existing design systems, component libraries, and tables/grids.

Nice to have:

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) techniques with web frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
• Experience with Reacts Material UI (MUI) component library.
• Experience scaling and modernizing real-time customer experiences and upskilling teams.
• Fintech, Financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, performant, and maintainable customer-facing applications using React with JavaScript or TypeScript, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices and browsers.
• Develop and maintain Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services and APIs, enabling efficient communication between the UI and backend systems.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement high-fidelity user interfaces. 
• Leverage existing design systems, component libraries, and data-rich UI elements like grids and tables.
• Apply server-side rendering (SSR) techniques using frameworks like Next.js or Remix to optimize performance and SEO of web applications.
• Develop user interfaces using Reacts Material UI (MUI), adhering to modern design standards and accessibility best practices.
