We're looking for an experienced Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) based in Latin America to join a global clinical research team supporting a US-based pharmaceutical client.
The Clinical Trial Manager will be responsible for the operational management and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring studies are delivered according to timelines, quality standards, budgets, protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
This is a opportunity to work closely with US-based stakeholders and international clinical research teams. Strong communication skills and advanced English proficiency are essential for success in this role.
Requirements:
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent), both written and spoken, with the ability to confidently participate in meetings and communicate with US-based stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience in clinical research, with relevant experience in Clinical Trial Management or Clinical Operations.
- Experience managing clinical trials within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related healthcare organization.
- Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical research processes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience coordinating CROs, vendors, clinical sites, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against timelines in a remote, international environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and common clinical trial/project management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on global or multinational clinical trials.
- Previous experience working directly with US-based pharmaceutical clients or stakeholders.
- Experience in Phase I–III clinical development.
- Experience with electronic clinical trial systems and clinical trial management platforms.
- PMP, ACRP, SOCRA, or other relevant clinical research/project management certification.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operational execution of assigned clinical trials.
- Develop and maintain study timelines, milestones, and operational plans.
- Coordinate and manage CROs, vendors, clinical sites, and other external partners.
- Monitor study progress, identifying risks, issues, and potential delays and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure clinical trial activities are conducted in accordance with the protocol, ICH-GCP, applicable regulations, and company SOPs.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Medical, Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Biostatistics, and other cross-functional teams.
- Review and follow up on study metrics, KPIs, quality indicators, and key operational deliverables.
- Contribute to study budgets, vendor management, and financial tracking.
- Prepare and participate in study team meetings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate study status, risks, and key decisions effectively to US-based client stakeholders.
