We're searching for a Project Developer to provide cross-functional support to advance utility-scale wind/solar/storage projects from early stage through NTP. You'll keep schedules, deliverables, and data rooms tight; prepare applications and packages; coordinate consultants; and ensure internal teams have the info they need, on time and audit-ready.

Qualifications

  • Advanced English level to ensure fluent communication.
  • 1-4+ years in renewable development, power markets, environmental permitting, or real estate (strong internships considered).
  • Familiarity with U.S. interconnection processes (ERCOT, PJM, SPP, CAISO/WECC) a plus.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; basic GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS); PM tools (MS Project/Smartsheet).
  • Excellent writing, organization, and follow-through; comfort working across time zones.
  • Bachelors in engineering, environmental science, planning, geography, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-have skills

  • Interpreting interconnection studies (thermal/voltage/short-circuit/curtailment).
  • PVSyst/WAsP familiarity; reading one-lines and site plans.
  • Basic scripting (Python) or SQL for data cleanup/reporting.

Key responsibilities

Project admin & PM

  • Maintain project trackers, Gantt/Critical Path, action logs, and meeting notes.
  • Drive document control and versioning; update risk registers and KPI dashboards.

Land support

  • Prepare landowner outreach lists and mail merges; coordinate with land agents.
  • Assist with LOIs/options/leases; request title, surveys, and ALTA updates; compile legal exhibits.
  • Build/QA parcel shapefiles and constraint layers in GIS.

Interconnection support

  • Populate and submit queue/IX applications; manage portals, fees, and milestones.
  • Track study deliverables; summarize findings; coordinate with grid consultants/utilities.
  • Maintain queue dashboards and interconnection risk summaries.

Permitting & environmental

  • Own the permit matrix and calendar; assemble submittal packages and comment responses.
  • Coordinate environmental/cultural/wildlife consultants and deliverables.
  • Support public-meeting logistics and stakeholder notifications.

Data & analysis

  • Prepare site maps, one-lines, preliminary layouts, and route concepts.
  • Compile resource data and basic energy/offtake inputs; run light QA on models.
  • Build presentation materials, investment memos, and agency briefing decks.

RFP/offtake & transactions

  • Assemble RFP responses (forms, attachments, appendices); coordinate Q&A.
  • Curate data rooms; manage NDAs and buyer/vendor checklists.
