As the new Head of Clinical Operations, you will be spearheading the Clinical Operations Department and setting the direction for a growing portfolio of clinical trials Phase 2-4 as well as pharmacology trails.

Ensure the advancement of Pharmacosmos clinical trial portfolio

As the Head of Clinical Operations for Pharmacosmos, you will report to the Head of Clinical Development and provide strategic and operational guidance for the Clinical Operations Department including 7 skilled internal and external clinical operations professionals. In this role, you will be defining its direction, developing structures, and driving continuous development and improvement of clinical processes in accordance with GCP. This also includes strategic planning, communication, coordination, delegation, and stepping into direct action as necessary to make sure goals are achieved on time and budget. Furthermore, you are responsible for efficient vendor management strategies, ensuring selection, management, delivery and budget follow ups and oversight of Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), vendors, and other third parties. Further, you are going to lead the development of operational strategies for identifying, recruiting, and retaining trial sites and subjects, including being in forefront of current best practices and tools for site selection and patient recruitment. The role also encompasses risk assessment and mitigation plans for clinical trials, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues. Leading the budgeting processes for clinical programs, you will align financial resources with project timelines and requirements. Finally, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Clinical Operation Department, enhancing clinical trial capabilities, effectiveness, and value delivery.

Experienced Clinical Operations profile

We expect you to hold a relevant degree within the field of life science, combined with extensive experience from the pharmaceutical industry, specifically focused on clinical operations management. You possess proven leadership/management capabilities, coupled with solid experience in managing phase 2 and 3 clinical trials. Further, you have an excellent understanding of as well as demonstrated application of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), ICH and other relevant guidelines. Moreover, you have previous experience managing CROs. Finally, your expertise includes the ability to lead and manage a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, and you excel in meeting timelines and reaching corporate goals.

You are a strong, adaptable leader, who knows how to set the direction for your team and how to influence, motivate, and bring people together and encourage growth.
