About the role:

At Velexa, we are expanding our Sales Team and looking for a motivated, energetic Senior Sales Executives.

At Velexa, our Sales Team is the engine that drives our fast-growing global presence being responsible to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, close sales and develop strong and trustable relationships with Institutional clients. You will have the opportunity to partner your strategic sales ability with our formidable experience in offering Products at scale. This role provides enormous potential for career and financial progression.

  • The primary responsibility of the role is to grow our technology and software business globally by advocating our Investing Platform as a Service offering to Banks, Challengers and Brokerage houses and sharing our unique value proposition into the capital markets ecosystem.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will be both experienced in institutional coverage and selling Software as a Service offerings into the capital markets space. It is likely you have a passion for building and managing client relationships, delivering strong financial performance and excelling at closing deals. The Sales Executive needs to be comfortable with ambiguity, dynamic sales cycle and the demands that naturally arise from rapid growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Play a pivotal role in building a solid sales funnel
  • Achieve growth and hit annual sales targets
  • Manage C Level relations within Target prospects
  • Broaden Velexas reputation as the market leader in providing embedding investing solutions
  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our out-of-the-box solutions
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base and extends the relevant regional reach
  • Contribute to overall GTM marketing strategy. Constantly deliver clients and market feedback internally to the team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Products Team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of institutional sales software experience (eg SaaS), fintech/tech or B2B solutions
  • Proven track record as a deal closure, a demonstrable history of carrying and exceeding quota
  • Strong familiarity and network with capital markets and investment ecosystem
  • Must have excellent sales skills and broad investment knowledge
  • Professional/ Fluent English level, plus local language
  • Analytics-first approach to sales; preference for data informing actions
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, demonstrated ability to conduct compelling on-site presentations to C-Level executives
  • Tenacity and discipline to follow up with passion and resp
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
