Position Overview:
The Senior Partnership Manager will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that align with Velexa’s business objectives. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in partnership management, business development, and relationship building within the wealthtech or financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and evaluate potential partners that align with Velexa's strategic goals. Develop and execute partnership strategies to drive growth and enhance the company's market position. Lead the development of strategic partnership mission statements, value propositions, and detailed joint Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with top strategic partners. Serve as the main point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and ensuring mutual success.
Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations and manage the contractual aspects of partnership agreements. Ensure terms are favourable and aligned with company objectives.
Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of the partnerships' GTM strategy with a focus on joint lead generation and revenue growth opportunities. Regularly monitor and report on partnership performance, providing actionable insights to improve outcomes.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to drive partner revenue growth and ensure successful implementation and management of partner strategy. Coordinate cross-functional activities to maximise partnership value.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to inform partnership strategies.
Thought Leadership: Represent Velexa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Advocate for the company’s vision and establish Velexa as a leader in the wealthtech space.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field within the wealthtech or financial services industry. Proven experience in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating agreements, and building long-lasting partnerships.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of the wealthtech industry, digital investments, and financial services. Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the sector.
Network: Established network of industry contacts and relationships with potential partners.
Willingness to travel: 25% of the time.
