Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Innovate: Spearhead complex migration projects within the capital markets industry, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Facilitate Collaboration: Coordinate efforts between distributed teams to optimise project execution and delivery.
• Plan for Success: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, setting a clear roadmap for success.
• Monitor Progress: Track project milestones and proactively make adjustments to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.
• Engage Stakeholders: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any challenges that arise.
• Gather Requirements: Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, ensuring that all technical and business specifications are precisely documented.
• Manage Change: Oversee change management processes to guarantee smooth transitions throughout project phases.
• Mitigate Risks: Lead risk management initiatives, identifying potential threats and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Inspire Teams: Provide strategic direction and foster a collaborative environment for project team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Over 5 years in project management with a strong focus on software implementation in the financial services industry (preferably on the ISV/vendor side).
• Project Management Expertise: Proven experience with large-scale projects, especially on a fixed-price model. Project Management certification (PMP) is highly desirable.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of trading, treasury, or banking business processes.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional team management and leadership abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
• Methodological Expertise: Proficiency in various project management frameworks and methodologies, including classical and agile approaches.
• Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering results on time and within budget.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications: PMP or other relevant project management certification.
• Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles.
• SaaS Knowledge: Experience with SaaS products and services, enhancing project outcomes.
• Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of trading and brokerage business, with an understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial markets.
• Technical Acumen: Strong technical background in software development or systems integration.
