Finance Payable Administrator FTC

Purpose:

An insurance services company is seeking a Finance Payable Administrator who is responsible to provide essential support to the Finance, Policy Admin and Claims teams, focusing on managing and controlling all service providers payable activities related to insurance operations while ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payment of claims related costs, commissions, reinsurance expenses and supplier invoices. This includes compiling documents for supplier payments, reconciliation of supplier payments, payment queries and other basic administrative tasks. This role requires traits such as professionalism, maturity, sophistication, articulation, and intelligence

Key Job Outputs:

• Support Finance and Operational tasks
• Customer service and correspondence management
• Capture suppliers’ information and invoices accurately into 1Web system
• Process and verify insurance claim invoices against purchase orders and authorisations
• Process supplier payments and maintain accurate records
• Attend to payment and premium queries including issuing proof of payments
• Assist in projects and various activities
• Maintain strong internal controls to prevent duplicate or incorrect payments
• Prepare and submit month-end recons
• Maintain accurate documentations for audit and regulatory reviews
• Adhere to payment terms, tax/vat requirements and statutory deadlines
• Resolve payment queries professionally and within agreed turnaround times

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Qualification in Finance or Insurance

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance Insurance or a related domain

Salary: Market related
