Finance Assistant – 3 Month Contract

Purpose:

A leading engineering and infrastructure solutions company is seeking a Finance Assistant on a 3-month contract to support the Finance Manager with financial processing, SAP transactions, month-end activities, VAT submissions, cashflow reporting, reconciliations, reporting and external audit requirements

Key Job Outputs:

SAP & Financial Processing

• Processing of debtors receipts into SAP
• Processing of creditors payments into SAP
• Processing of month-end journal entries into SAP
• Generating scrap sales invoices
• Releasing sales orders
• Capturing daily exchange rates into SAP

VAT & Cash Flow

• Monthly submission of VAT 201 to SARS
• Bi-weekly cashflow submission to the Finance Manager

Imports & Foreign Accounts

• Import landed cost workings
• Updating import stock purchase orders
• Foreign bank account revaluat
• Foreign debtors revaluation
• Foreign creditors revaluation

Fixed Assets & Reconciliations

• Fixed asset depreciation submission
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Sign off creditors reconciliations
• Intercompany reconciliations

Debtors & Reporting

• Downloading and emailing debtors statements
• Fixed expenses reporting

Audit Support

• Provide paperwork for samples selected for external audit
