About the job Maintenance Schedulers
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join our mining team. The Maintenance Scheduler will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our mining equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for all equipment and infrastructure within the mining operation.
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and technicians to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed on time and according to manufacturer specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist with the development of maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Willingness to work in outdoor and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
