Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Support Staff member to join our Maintenance Department. The Support Staff member will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance department's administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for maintenance department staff.
- Coordinate the purchase and delivery of office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of maintenance reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance department staff, other departments, and external stakeholders.
- Provide backup support for other administrative staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
