About the job Inventory/Parts Coordinators
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator to join our mining team. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts and materials to ensure that the maintenance department has the necessary supplies to support mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of spare parts, materials, and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory items.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist with the development of inventory management procedures and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
