WHAT THIS IS

Vega Federal is a defense and intelligence technology firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. We support some of the most consequential geospatial and national security programs in the country. As we grow, we are actively building a bench of cleared engineering and IT talent so that when roles open, we move fast.

If you hold an active Top-Secret clearance or above and work in software engineering, IT, or cybersecurity, we want to know you before we need you.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

This pipeline is for engineers and IT professionals who check all three boxes:

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or higher — TS/SCI strongly preferred
• Based in St. Louis, MO or willing to relocate from within the United States
• Working in engineering, software development, IT, or cybersecurity

If your clearance is inactive, in the adjudication process, or you require sponsorship, this pipeline is not the right fit at this time.

SKILLSETS WE'RE PIPELINING

We are actively collecting resumes across the following areas:

• Python — scripting, automation, data pipelines, backend services
• Java — enterprise applications, APIs, Spring Boot, microservices
• React — modern front-end development, component architecture, state management
• Frontend Engineering — UI/UX implementation, web performance, design systems
• Cyber Engineering — defensive cyber operations, security architecture, vulnerability assessment, zero trust

LOCATION

St. Louis, Missouri. Many of our positions require on-site work, including some SCIF-based roles. We welcome relocation candidates from anywhere within the United States. Relocation support is evaluated on a role-by-role basis.
