A leading global company in the automotive aftermarket industry is seeking a Head of Automotive Aftermarket to drive business growth and sales strategy across the assigned territory in the APAC market. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, optimizing pricing structures, and expanding market presence. The role includes full P&L responsibility for the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the automotive aftermarket sales strategy in alignment with regional business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with regional sales strategies.
- Expand and enhance sales and organizational structures to achieve business targets.
- Lead pricing strategy development in coordination with regional pricing teams.
- Oversee the multi-brand approach and distribution strategies.
- Negotiate and manage commercial terms with key customers, including rebates, bonuses, and contracts.
- Monitor market trends, customer expectations, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute customer marketing initiatives, including promotions, audits, seminars, plant visits, and training sessions.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team across sales, business development, pricing, and product management.
- Oversee logistics, financial KPIs, receivables, and cash flow management to ensure business success.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external business practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support and lead product localization programs for the assigned market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive and/or industrial independent aftermarket sector.
- 3+ years of general management experience, with strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of technical parts and aftermarket business is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). A secondary regional language will be an added advantage.
