The Account Manager Public Sector is a quota-carrying sales expert responsible for managing and growing relationships within assigned government accounts. This role focuses on account expansion, renewals, and maximizing sales opportunities by aligning client needs with the company's solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth, renewals, and account expansion across solution areas.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction.
- Leverage tools like Salesforce.com to manage accounts, pipelines, and forecasts effectively.
- Develop strategies to meet revenue and margin targets, minimize churn, and retain clients.
- Collaborate across regions to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Identify and articulate client needs, aligning them with company offerings.
- Conduct vulnerability analyses to optimize solutions against competitors.
- Ensure compliance with financial control and governance requirements.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong business acumen and understanding of technology sales and market trends.
- Experience in one of the below Government accounts
- GovTech
- Central Agencies
- Defence ( MINDEF/ DSTA)
- Proven client engagement and relationship management skills.
- Expertise in connecting client needs with tailored solutions.
- Ability to coordinate resources and close sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business or a related field.
- Relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- Significant experience in sales or customer service roles within IT or professional services.
- Proficiency in managing global partnerships and driving sales growth.
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar platforms.
