Nurse Practitioner (NP) | POOLING

Job Description:

• Take patient histories and perform physical exams
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Prescribe medications
• Develop treatment plans and manage ongoing care
• Provide counseling on preventive care, lifestyle, and disease management
• Perform certain procedures, depending on specialty and jurisdiction

Job Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license/certification is preferred but not required.
• National board certification in a specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics, Psychiatric-Mental Health, Acute Care, etc.).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or in an advanced nursing role.
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and disease management.
• Ability to order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Authorized to prescribe medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and counsel patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) and other healthcare technology systems.
• Knowledge of current clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and healthcare regulations.
