Coding QA Manager

Job Description:

• Lead a team of medical coders providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure high quality work while promoting a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Manage medical coding projects.
• Conduct client's medical coding reviews and audit to identify coding errors and areas of improvement. Provide recommendations and updates as needed.
• Develop and document QA processes specific to coding ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate medical coding issues with the appropriate team and identify solutions to coding issues and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other teams and managers to ensure integration of coding processes to improve overall billing efficiency and accuracy.
• Performs special projects and other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months consultancy contract (subject for renewal)
• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in coding and billing
• Requires strong accuracy, attentiveness to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
• Willing to work in shifting schedules, Mondays to Fridays
• Has reliable internet at home
• Able to Work From Home
