VEA Telecoms is expanding its operations and is looking for a skilled Transport Coordinator to manage our growing fleet nationally. With over 75 vehicles across our branches in Manchester, Cumbria, and Birmingham, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Management: Ensure MOTs and vehicle maintenance are up to date.
  • Driver Licence Checks: Perform checks every 3 months to ensure compliance.
  • Vehicle Repairs & Maintenance: Schedule repairs, manage replacement orders, and order new vehicles as needed.
  • Fleet Expansion: Currently managing vans, with larger fleet vehicles to be added in the near future.
  • Transfer Coordination: Report and manage vehicle transfers between internal teams through possession forms.
  • PCN Management: Handle Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and other motor-related requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a fleet of vehicles.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate between branches.
  • Excellent communication skills.
