About the job Finance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our accounting operations and finance projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a people-first manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and has deep expertise in BPO payroll, client invoicing, and financial reporting.
You will oversee a team of accounting professionals, ensure the integrity of our financial data, and drive process improvements across all finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Gather and monitor financial data, including sales revenues, liabilities, and operational metrics
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports)
- Perform detailed month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies; ensure data integrity
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare comprehensive budgets for the entire company and by department
- Forecast costs and revenues to support strategic planning
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
Compliance & Audit
- Manage tax payments and ensure regulatory compliance
- Organize and oversee internal audits
- Maintain robust financial controls and documentation
Client & Operational Finance
- Oversee client invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Lead BPO payroll operations with a focus on compliance and efficiency
- Manage finance projects from initiation through delivery
People Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the finance function
- Serve as the primary accounting leader and escalation point for the team
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred (but not required for strong candidates)
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role
Strong experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll processing
Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and payroll platforms
Experience using the Sprout Payroll platform is highly preferred
Must be amenable to work onsite in either Alabang or Makati
