Job Summary

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, maintenance, safety, and functionality of two company sites located in Makati and Alabang. This role ensures both facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations.

The Facilities Manager will lead onsite facilities personnel and vendors, oversee workplace operations, manage site-related projects, and ensure an excellent working environment for employees and stakeholders.

This position is a people leadership role and requires strong operational, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for both RCBC (Makati) and Insular (Alabang) sites.
  • Ensure all building systems, equipment, and workplace infrastructure are functioning effectively.
  • Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, repairs, utilities, and overall site condition.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate with building administration, landlords, and external service providers.

Site Management

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify operational issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure workspaces are safe, operational, and aligned with company standards.
  • Manage office space utilization, workplace setup, and facility improvements.
  • Support business continuity and operational readiness across both sites.

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Manage third-party vendors including housekeeping, security, maintenance, and other facility service providers.
  • Ensure vendor performance meets service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Handle contractor coordination for repairs, renovations, and site projects.
  • Monitor vendor billing, contracts, and service compliance.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Lead emergency preparedness initiatives and site safety protocols.
  • Coordinate fire safety inspections, drills, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with local building and government regulations.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparing and managing facilities-related budgets.
  • Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track facility expenditures and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage facilities personnel assigned to both sites.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and high-performing team culture.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and operational coverage across sites.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for facilities-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support operational requirements.
  • Provide timely updates and resolutions for facilities issues and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or workplace operations.
  • Experience managing multiple sites is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in people leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance, safety, and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and facilities management systems/tools.

Work Arrangement

  • Requires regular onsite presence at both Makati and Alabang locations.
  • May require schedule flexibility to address operational or emergency concerns.
