About the job Finance Officer

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll help manage daily accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support reporting and compliance activities. You'll work closely with management to keep our financial records organized and up to date.

Experience using Xero for accounting functions including reconciliations, reporting, and system integrations is essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Manage general accounting functions, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including the creation and processing of invoices.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate ledger accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audit periods.
  • Assist in preparing BIR Tax returns.
  • With experience in Xero for all accounting functions, including reconciliations, reporting, and system integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support roles.
  • Proficient in Xero accounting software (required).
  • Willing to work onsite in Alabang and/or Makati
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with accounting systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Familiarity with BIR compliance and tax filing is a plus.
