Payroll Officer

Vault Outsourcing is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to support one of our established Australian clients. This role will primarily focus on end-to-end payroll processing, employee payroll administration, and ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and company policies.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with an Australian-based team and gain exposure to large-scale payroll operations within a well-established corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process new starters, terminations, and separation certificates
• Complete fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
• Process payroll using SAP Payroll, EC SuccessFactors, Payroll Control Centre, and Spinifex reports
• Review and validate Time and Attendance data
• Maintain employee payroll records, including leave, movements, and separations
• Prepare PAYG payments and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting
• Process and maintain employee superannuation records
• Assist with superannuation reconciliations and month-end payroll activities
• Respond to payroll-related queries and provide administrative support
• Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and internal requirements

Key Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or payroll industry experience
• Experience in a large corporate payroll environment
• Exposure to both salaried and Award-based payroll environments
• Understanding of Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• Experience with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors, Oracle/ERP systems, or similar platforms
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
