Job Description:

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Vault Outsourcing, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that impact both customers and vendors. This is an exciting opportunity to lead technical initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to contribute to the overall team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Ownership: Lead the development of new features from concept through to deployment, ensuring quality and usability.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code, and conduct code reviews to maintain the highest engineering standards.
• System Design & Architecture: Design reliable and scalable systems, contributing to key architectural decisions that guide the evolution of our platform.
• Mentoring: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, supporting their growth.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and act on areas for improvement within the team's processes, codebase, and system architecture.

Skills and Experience:

• Microservices Architecture: Strong expertise in designing and implementing microservices.
• NodeJS & TypeScript: Extensive experience in backend development using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• AWS Services: Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS (VMs, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.).
• CI/CD & Testing: Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance requirements.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
