About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Debt Collector to manage delinquent accounts, recover outstanding debts, and negotiate repayment arrangements. The role involves skip tracing to locate debtors, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delinquent accounts and review payment histories to determine recovery strategies
- Use skip tracing to locate and contact debtors who have defaulted on payments or become unresponsive
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or resolutions via phone, email, or correspondence
- Record all communications and agreements accurately in the system
- Work with team leads, legal, and compliance on complex cases and escalations
Qualifications
- 23 years experience in collections or debt recovery (AU market preferred)
- Experience in skip tracing and investigative methods (Preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in account reviews
