About the job Data Scientist

Our client is seeking a Data Scientist at their Fort Meade, Virgina location. This is a direct hire, onsite (4 days a week) position. Candidates must be US Citizens and have an active TS/SCI security clearance with Poly (full-scope preferred).

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced models for object detection and analysis using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Integrate diverse data sources into cohesive databases.
  • Train foundation models to support the Intelligence Community.
  • Fine-tune models to address specific intelligence questions.
  • Write clear documentation and reports for decision-makers.

    • Must Have/Job Requirements:

    • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph
    •  Bachelors degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.) with 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Data Science experience
    • Python and/or R
    • Machine Learning/Computer Vision/Object Detection


    Desired Skills:

    • Prior experience with Pytorch, keras and overhead imagery would be beneficial but not a requirement
    • Masters degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics etc)
