Business Development Manager

Position Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities from current project and managed service clients through renewal business and new business leads and client referrals to achieve the company's revenue goals.

Sales and Revenue Generation

• Actively identify and develop new and renewal opportunities with current project and managed services clients to contribute to exceeding individual and team quarterly and annual goals.
• Proactively integrate into the client organisation to represent Vantage Point Security as a trusted advisor that understands their application security risks.
• Ensure our clients are proactively managing their cybersecurity posture by promoting and expanding adoption of VELOCITY managed security testing as a service via the VELOCITY client services portal.
• Garner qualified referrals to new organizations from current clients.

Cross Functional Collaboration and Administrative Responsibilities

• Proactively manages, participates in, and executes client engagement.
• Works collaboratively with the principal and senior consulting team for presales technical support and project scoping.
• Proactively manage all account information client in WorkFlowMax (WFM) and any additional related software platforms.
• Attend and actively participate in all pertinent meetings as designated by Vantage Point Security.
• Monitor competitive performance, customer feedback, client retention, and satisfaction to meet and exceed our company goals.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
