HR Manager

Position: HR Manager

Vanguard Energy Services is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team. As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and developing our employees, while ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements

- Manage the recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers

- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed

- Oversee employee relations, including handling employee complaints, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on disciplinary actions

- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations

- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies

- Develop and implement employee training and development programs

- Manage performance evaluations and provide guidance to managers on performance management

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent

- Handle employee separations, including conducting exit interviews and managing the offboarding process

- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work culture

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in the energy industry

- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

- SHRM certification is a plus
