Houston Methodist 150.00 per hour, 50k sign-on with 3-year commitment & up to 10k for relocation expenses.
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 6 minimum per month- what is the layout of the schedule? i.e. do they work 3 -4 24 hour shifts one week and then off the following week, and then back for the next set of shifts?
Trying to identify how the shifts are blocked.
Physicians can request up to 10 days that they do not want to work each month. The remaining 20-21 days are the days are the days they will be scheduled within.
Benefits: PTO, Sick, or Holiday time? Aware that sometimes with HOS positions this not offered.
No PTO or Sick Time
Holiday: Work at least 2 holidays per year (1 major, 1 minor). Holiday Pay: Physician shall be compensated an additional $600.00 per shift (7am7pm;7pm-7am) when working clinically on the following holidays: New Years Eve (night shift), New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
CME allowance? $3500 for FT
Are State license/DEA renewal, Board re-Certs, Professional dues/affiliations/organizations paid/reimbursed? State License, DEA, and Board certs reimbursed. All other organizations can be reimbursed through BERA
Any loan repayment offered? No Loan Repayment
$150 an hour, firm? Just seeing if there is any wiggle room based around experience level? This is a firm amount.
Compensation:
Residency requirement? Or can they live somewhere else and stay in community while working? Must be located in the area, no travel in for the shifts.
