Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

As a traveling Territory Sales Manager of Computer/IT Hardware and Electronic Components Sales, you will be responsible for selling computer hardware and electronic components to customers throughout your state or even across the US. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to customer sites in your city and/or country.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers 
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for computer hardware and electronic components
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding product selection, technical specifications, and pricing
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and success
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities
  • Interface with Vyrians internal trading, purchasing, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. Also, accept other degrees with sufficient relative experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of computer hardware and electronic components
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and electronic component products and their applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing network of contacts in the computer hardware and electronic components industry
  • Experience working in a remote sales position
