About the Role
Valoris Group are representing a national client who are delivering a high-profile project across a large commercial retail store chain throughout the UK. We are looking for a skilled Commercial Electrician to join the team on a 12-month contract.

The role will involve integrating a backup battery system into existing power supplies across multiple retail sites, ensuring resilience and reliability of electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installation and modification works on large commercial retail sites.

• Safely splice in and connect backup battery systems to existing supply.

• Adhere to all current wiring regulations, H&S procedures and compliance standards.

• Liaise with project teams and site management to complete works to schedule.

• Maintain accurate job records and reporting.

Requirements

• Qualified Commercial Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

• ECS/CSCS card.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.

• Proven background working on large commercial/retail sites.

• Experience with backup/battery integration preferred.

• Flexibility to travel nationwide.

• Full UK driving licence.

Contract Package

• Duration: 12 months

• Competitive day rate (to be discussed at application stage)

• Van & Fuel Card and Travel and accommodation support where required
