The Opportunity
Valoris Group Limited is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to take a key senior role within a renewable energy contractor based in Droitwich Spa.
Combining commercial ownership, operational delivery and technical leadership, this position offers the opportunity to take responsibility for solar PV, battery energy storage and EV charging projects from contract handover through to completion. You will lead project delivery, manage budgets and resources, and help shape the business's technical and installation standards.
The successful candidate will also act as the company's NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) and MCS Technical Supervisor. You must therefore be a fully qualified electrician with substantial practical and technical renewable energy experience, alongside established electrical contracts management capability.
Previous electrical contracts management experience is essential. This opportunity is intended for someone already comfortable owning contracts, programmes, budgets, labour, subcontractors and commercial performance, rather than taking their first step into contracts management.

- Track actual costs against budgets and forecasts, monitor margins and identify potential overruns early.
- Identify, record and manage variations and additional works, providing accurate information for valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
- Review subcontractor costs and completed works, supporting procurement and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Improve productivity and profitability without compromising safety, compliance or installation quality.
- Provide regular project, programme and commercial updates to senior management.
- Support estimating and tendering with technical input, appropriate installation methods and realistic labour requirements.
NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor

Health, Safety and Quality
- Promote a strong health and safety culture and review and approve appropriate risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) before work starts.
- Ensure site teams and subcontractors follow company health and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring defects, non-conformances and snagging items are resolved promptly.
