Job Title: Renewable Electrician
Location: Wales & South-West England

Pay: Up to £700/day (self-employed) or £42,000/year + bonus (employed)
Schedule: MondayFriday (weekend work optional)

About the Role

Valoris Group is seeking experienced Renewable Electricians to join leading projects across Wales and the South-West of England. This opportunity is ideal for electricians with domestic rewiring experience who are looking to transition into the renewable energy sector. Full training in Solar PV and Battery Storage will be provided to support long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain renewable energy systems including Solar PV, Battery Storage, and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)

• Carry out first and second fix work for Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) projects

• Ensure all installations comply with industry and regulatory standards

• Deliver high levels of customer service on every project

• Document and manage work efficiently on-site

• Willingness to travel for occasional overnight stays (fully arranged and paid)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years electrical experience

• Strong domestic installation and rewiring background

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification

• Inspection & Testing certificate

• Own tools

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Flexibility to travel across Wales & South-West England

Desirable / Training Provided

• Solar PV qualification

• Battery ESS qualification

• On-the-job training in renewable energy systems

Pay & Benefits

• Self-Employed: Up to £700/day + £0.50/mile fuel allowance

• Employed: £42,000/year + bonus, company van, fuel card

• Accommodation arranged and paid for overnight stays + £30/night meal allowance
