Valoris Group is partnering with a well-established Building Services & Facilities Management provider, delivering tailored solutions across maintenance, M&E services, compliance, and infrastructure projects. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is a pivotal role, offering a clear route to progression into senior leadership or director-level opportunities as the business scales.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial and financial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and successful contract delivery.

  • Cost & Contract Management Develop and maintain cost plans, manage project budgets, and provide financial forecasting.
  • Tendering & Procurement Prepare bills of quantities, assess contractor submissions, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Project Financial Oversight Handle valuations, variations, and the full contract lifecycle to ensure projects remain profitable.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with key stakeholders, including clients, engineers, subcontractors, and management teams.
  • Risk & Compliance Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, construction contracts, and health & safety guidelines.
  • M&E & Facilities Integration Support the strategic development of the M&E and Hard FM services division, ensuring robust financial planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced QS A minimum of five years experience in quantity surveying, ideally in building services, facilities management, or M&E projects.
  • Commercially Minded Ability to drive profitability, manage budgets, and oversee financial aspects of multiple projects.
  • Technical Acumen Knowledge of construction contracts, CDM regulations, and M&E systems.
  • Proactive & Organised Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence in managing contractors, engineers, and clients.

  • IT Skills Comfortable with software such as Microsoft Office and cost management systems.
