We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Surveyor to join our team in Aldershot, supporting the expansion of our operations and driving the future of energy solutions.

Role Overview:
As a Solar Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in assessing potential installation sites and ensuring that projects meet both technical and regulatory standards. Youll collaborate closely with project teams, providing essential data to inform design and installation decisions, and act as a key point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive on-site surveys for solar PV and battery storage installations.
  • Measure roof dimensions, assess shading, and evaluate electrical systems for installation feasibility.
  • Produce accurate reports that inform system designs and project planning.
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth project execution and handover.
  • Ensure all work meets relevant industry standards, including health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, providing clear and concise explanations of survey findings.
  • Manage documentation and ensure compliance with certifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Solar Surveyor or similar role in solar PV installations.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including design and installation processes.
  • Electrical qualifications, such as a Level 3 certification or higher, are highly advantageous.
  • Experience with both domestic and commercial solar installations.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
  • Competence in producing site reports and commissioning systems.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
