Due to our continued success and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join our dedicated team, ensuring that heating systems remain reliable, efficient, and compliant across multiple contracts.

The Role What Youll Be Doing

  • Diagnose and repair communal/district heating systems, replacing faulty parts, controls, and components.
  • Install and upgrade heating systems to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining technical aspects to residents and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records using company systems, ensuring all reports meet compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and clients to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
  • Troubleshoot complex faults and implement effective solutions.

What Were Looking For
Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing & Heating, Mechanical Services, or HVAC (essential).
  • Unvented Hot Water Certification (advantageous).
  • ACS Gas qualifications (preferred but not essential).

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum five years of experience in heating system maintenance, repair, and installations.
  • Strong knowledge of district and communal heating systems.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical components related to heating and plumbing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and system designs.
  • Experience in commercial and multi-occupancy property heating solutions.
  • Logical and systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team.
  • Experience with Heat Interface Units (HIUs) would be beneficial.
