::: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :::
Network Infrastructure Management
- Implement, administer, and maintain LAN, WLAN, WAN/SDWAN, VSAT, and point-to-point communications to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Implement, administer, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and ICS network segregation to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with DTS policies.
- Ensure continuous operation of the company's network infrastructure across all areas of operations.
- Ensuring that standards and procedures for Network Systems are maintained in particular; capacity planning, demand management and availability management.
- Maintain updated network diagrams, user guides, telephone directories, and work instructions.
- Track IT assets, update the asset management database, and maintain accurate records.
- Development and review of policies, procedures, standards, and other related materials pertaining to network infrastructure and telecommunication systems.
Network Infrastructure Operation and Troubleshooting
- Monitoring and maintaining multi-site network operations.
- Performs analysis and diagnosis of the complex network problems.
- Review daily alerts, escalate unresolved issues, and respond promptly to service incidents.
- Acknowledge, follow up, escalate, and resolve IT incidents and service requests raised by the company.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for LAN, WLAN, WAN, VSAT, internet access, VPN, and telephone issues.
- Escalate and follow up the issues or incidents to higher-level support, vendors, service providers, third-parties to resolve the issues or incidents.
- Makes use of standard operating procedures and applications for service, change and incident management and asset management.
- Manages data collection, reporting, and trending for critical network components and services.
- Regularly coordinate with the company on IT service matters as instructed, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
- User satisfaction with incident handling and troubleshooting should remain at a high level, reflected in positive feedback scores.
BCP/DRP and IT Security
- Develops network infrastructure plan and solutions to support Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for critical recovery operations.
- Proactive in identifying network security vulnerabilities, applying and maintaining solutions to mitigate risk.
- Develops procedures to maintain security and protect network and systems from unauthorized access.
- Review, recommend, and apply minimum security baseline on network devices across Company according to best practice or industry standards.
Vendor Management
- Contributes to the management of IT vendors, service providers and third-party contractors including recommending the selections of vendors, participating in the procurement process, installation, project and maintenance for network hardware, software and third-party services.
:: QUALIFICATIONS :::
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Bachelors in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information System or other related field. Or equivalent work experiences.
Experience:
- 3 to 5+ years of IT work experience in voice, network, telecommunications, participating in network planning, design, and manages the infrastructure.
- 3+ years of IT work experience in voice, network and telecommunication in gas-and-oil or related industry. Onshore and offshore integration experience would be an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in technical design and manage of Voice, Network and Telecom technologies and management tools, including, but not limited to, Firewall, L2/L3/L4 Switch, Router and routing protocols, Wireless, Internet, VPN, SD-WAN, VSAT and Point-to-Point radio, Video Conference and cabling technologies.
- Strong of computer network security.§ Strong knowledge and experience in IT project management and continual improvement including, design, proof-of-concept, evaluation, solution selection, procurement, contracting, delivery, pilot, deployment, lookback, close out and support.
- Strong knowledge and experience of understand of security standards and requirements, law and regulations and IT industrial best practices.
Good experience in customer or business engagement, understand of business requirements, challenge and opportunities, and contractor management. - Proficiency in Thai both speaking and writing.
- Good or fluent in English communication both speaking and writing. TOEIC score of 600 or higher would be advantage.
- Certificates would be advantage: Project Management (PMP or PRINCE II), ITIL Service Management (ITSM), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA or equivalent), Certified Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), etc.
