About the job F(P)SO Superintendent
::: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :::
Document of compliance and regulatory requirement for FSO operation:
- Develop a transition plan to obtain the Document of Compliance (DOC) for the company's Self O&M under the Liberian Flag (Aurora/ Manora Princess), including the proposed organization, Designated Person Ashore (DPA), Company Security Officer (CSO), and necessary manpower.
- Ensure compliance with both flag and coastal regulations including MARPOL, SOLAS and local maritime laws.
Operation and maintenance (either self O&M or hire of service):
- Integrate F(P)SO operations with upstream production and downstream logistics seamlessly.
- Develop, review, enhance, and implement consistent processes across F(P)SO operations.
- Implement procedures and controls to meet procedural and legislative requirements efficiently and safely.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for F(P)SO,including systems and third-party inspections and maintenance.
- Ensure maintenance complies with class society requirements, flag state regulations, and company standards.
- Ensure the availability of active contracts to all 3rd party service
Planning and Budget:
- Provide timely input for the relevant OPEX budget with solid plan and accurate estimate budget on each activity
- Contribute detailed strategies, asset plans, and guidance to the Business Plan, adhering to it with minimum contingencies.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, Security, and environmental (HSE) policies, including spill prevention, fire safety, and emergency response protocols as per Company HSSE management system in alignment with International Safety Management (ISM) and International Ship and Port Security (ISPS)
- Regular review bridging documents with core contractors to ensure the alignment of bridging processes
- Manage all the risks into ALARP level
Training and Development
- Responsible for ensuring that any change to process systems is communicated and the appropriate level of training is provided. As required,ensure skills gap analysis is undertaken and appropriate training is identified and followed up on.
- Performance management for self and direct repartees.
:: QUALIFICATIONS :::
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Preferably an offshore marine background in experience.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in a supervisory / managerial/ advisory role relating to offshore upstream oil and gas.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years in an appropriate Oil and Gas environment with at least 5 years in leading roles and SME.
- Strong safety and environmental awareness. Proven leadership qualities.
- Experience within the Oil and Gas offshore industry
Skills:
- Agile mindset
- Strong managerial and contract management skills.
- Effective communicator at all levels; fluent in both Thai & English, oral and written.
- Effective in planning and prioritizing work tasks.
