Data Engineer

::: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :::

Planning

• Support Digital Solutions manager to develop data strategies and roadmaps that align with the organizations business goals and objectives. This includes identifying key data initiatives, setting priorities, and defining timelines for the implementation.
• Support Digital Solutions manager to prepare budget and resources required to support data strategies and roadmaps.

Data Management Platform and Service and Data Analytics Implementation, Development and Maintenance

• Be responsible for designing a scalable and efficient data architecture that support the organizations data needs. This includes selecting appropriate technologies, defining data models, and ensuring data integration across various systems.
• Engage with internal stakeholders from various departments and locations to understand and their data requirements.
• Prioritize requirements and develop conceptual data models.
• Perform data profiling and develop ETL pipelines from various data sources to destination data lakes or data warehouses.
• Build data model to support business requirements following the required data quality and governance frameworks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data.
• Monitor and optimize data systems to ensure their performance and reliability.
• Review support tickets, complaints and recommendation from end users and ensure both reactive and preventive solutions are recorded, where applicable.
• Support Manager, Digital Solutions in liaison with other process owners at both local and corporate level/across countries/regions on data management, interfaces and related issues during specification, development, implementation and support of data management and data analytic platform and services.

User and Business Training

• Recommend end user training requirements, prepare and provide appropriate training to support all different levels of users to promote data-driven culture in the organization.

Policies,Systems, Process and Procedures

• Recommend improvements to data management policies, processes, and procedures.

:: QUALIFICATIONS :::

Knowledge & Qualifications:

• At least 5 to7 years in data engineering.
• University degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related fields.
• Excellent understanding in data engineering and data analytics.

Experience:

• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and best practices.
• Familiar with big data technologies and cloud platforms.

Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, etc.
• Data Analytics skills.
• Data management and data governance skills.
• Communication skills.
• Project Management skills.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Thai and English
