Job Summary

Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industry with the best silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products in the world. As a MEMS Metrology Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem solving skills to develop our metrology systems and engineer MEMS resonators for x next-generation timing products.

Responsibilities

  • Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication
  • Extend and improve RF metrology and automation; lead general lab development
  • Define and drive adoption of improved measurement standards and laboratory practices
  • Optimize MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance
  • Interface with local and overseas vendors
  • Work in cross-functional Engineering teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging
  • Drive and/or support other projects as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent required
  • Skilled scientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments
  • Experience running laboratory experiments with RF or microwave measurement required
  • Proficient coder in Matlab, Python, C/C++, or C#, etc.
  • Industry experience in device measurement, measurement automation, or test preferred
  • Printed circuit board design experience and oscillator fundamentals preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of physics: mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics
  • Excellent critical thinking and strong organizational skills
  • Clear and concise scientific communication
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative fast-paced team environment
