Our clients Site in Den Bosch is rapidly expanding providing Manufacturing, Supply Chain and R&D Services. Being part of the local Management Team you will lead a small team, adding value to the MT by thorough business analyses demonstrating financial leadership.

As Site Business Controller, you report in a matrix to the EMEA Group Business Controller (Hoofddorp) and the Site Managing Director (Den Bosch) acting as a real Business Partner. You are part of the Management Team of European Manufacturing and Supply Chain. The Site is rapidly expanding and currently provides Manufacturing services (60M€/yr), Logistics services (700M€/yr) and R&D Services (10M€/yr) to our clients global businesses with approx. 450 employees. Aim is to continue a double digit expansion as part of our SF 2030 strategy, in volume and variety of services, under your responsibility from a business perspective. You are accountable for timely delivery of monthly reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets of Site functions. You will lead and further develop the business controlling team in line with the expansion strategies and add value to the MT by continuous thorough analyses of business results vs budget and demonstrate financial leadership in the MT.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Build a high performing site Business Controlling team
  • Drive the end to end business development of the site Den Bosch
  • Ensure integrity of monthly financial close for the site Den Bosch
  • Ensure robust budget & forecasting processes (quarterly & annual) and control
  • Analyze actual KPIs, against budget/ forecast and provide timely information to stakeholders.
  • Challenge and support management and ensure that corrective management action is taken.
  • Identify and drive operational cost down projects.
  • Provide business analysis to support business decisions and where relevant take lead in implementation
  • Design/ build an appropriate IT infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance and control on high impact business processes (J-SOX, payroll, payments, governance etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum is a Master degree, Finance related
  • CIMA or ACCA certification is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing and preferable in supply chain/ logistics environment.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.
  • Familiar with ERP software is a must, and experience with JDE / Cognos and ERP transitions is a plus.
  • Robust financial reporting skills (US GAAP or IFRS)
  • Good knowledge of business and operational processes
  • Customer oriented, result driven, accurate and cost awareness is a must
  • Ability to effectively operate, switch and communicate across all levels
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.
