About the job ASP.NET Software Developer
Nationality: Prefer Malaysian Chinese, but can share resume as well for Malaysian Indian, will let Hiring Manager review first
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Working Hours: 9:30 AM 6:30 PM (GMT +8)
Salary Range: USD USD 1,050 USD 1,575/month (approx. RM5,000 RM7500)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the ASP.NET framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Participate in requirements analysis and software design discussions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform technology decisions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements.
Document technical specifications, deployment instructions, and system
architecture.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a ASP.NET developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in C# and the ASP.NET framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and
jQuery. - Knowledge of web services and API integration.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MVC and/or Web API frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of software testing practices and tools.
Plus Point:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience with Docker and containerisation technologies.
Experience deploying and managing ASP.NET applications in Docker containers.
Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Docker Compose for defining multi-container applications.
Experience with Docker Hub or other container registries for managing Docker images.
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to Docker containers and deployments.
Understanding of micro-services architecture and its implementation with
Docker containers.
Experience integrating Docker into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
