Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to maintain and support our
production systems. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving technical issues via code tracing, log analysis, and database queries. You will also manage system configurations, produce technical documentation, and respond to incidents often as part of an on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities
1. Maintain and support Java backend systems and API services.
2. Perform daily troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve system
errors.
3. Participate in an on-call rotation to handle unexpected production issues.
4. Communicate issues clearly and document solutions effectively.
5. Adjust configurations and deploy patches when needed.
Required Qualifications
1. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development (e.g.,
Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
2. Familiar with relational databases and able to write/debug SQL queries.
3. Knowledge of Linux command-line tools and operations.
4. Understanding of caching technologies such as Redis.
5. Willing to participate in on-call rotations for production support.

1. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
2. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
3. Effective team collaboration and communication abilities.
4. Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
5. Chinese language proficiency.

NOTE:

Working Hours / Leave Policy
Regular day shift: 8 working hours + 1-hour break
Rotational on-call duty: once a month or every two weeks
Working hours follow Taiwan time zone:
08:00 - 17:00 (Sri Lanka time)
Off on the weekend , plus Sri Lanka public holidays

Potential Shift Changes:
1.The company may implement 24/7 shift coverage in the future.
2.Candidates should be open to on-call duties and shift-based work.
3.Future shifts may switch to 12-hour rotating shifts.
