Python Selenium Developer

nationality: Prefer Malaysian Chinese, but can share resume as well for Malaysian Indian, will let Hiring Manager review first
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Working Hours: 9:30 AM 6:30 PM (GMT +8)
Salary Range: USD USD 1,050 USD 1,575/month (approx. RM5,000 RM7500)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium, WebDriver.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data for web applications.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure quality.
• Work closely with developers to understand application functionality and identify test requirements.
• Debug and resolve issues related to test scripts and automation frameworks.
  Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are
  followed.
• Develop and maintain web scraping scripts using Selenium for data extraction from various web sources.
• Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework for better
  efficiency and coverage.
• Document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered during the
  testing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
  solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
  field.
• Proven experience as a Python Selenium Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web
  development frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks like Appium, Robot
  Framework, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  Knowledge of database technologies and SQL.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
