Candidate Preference:
Taiwanese candidates are preferred. We are also open to qualified overseas candidates based in Europe, Malaysia.
Working Arrangement:
Taiwan-based candidates can work either onsite in Taipei or from home (WFH).
Candidates based in Europe, Malaysia, can work remotely.
Language Requirements:
Mandarin is not mandatory. For candidates who do not speak Mandarin, fluent English is required.

About the Role
We are developing an in-house Game Manager system that controls real-time game rounds, state transitions, and result integrity for live interactive games.
This role focuses on building mission-critical backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement game round lifecycle management
• Develop real-time backend services for live game control
• Build state machines ensuring consistency across failures
• Integrate streaming systems with game events
• Manage dealer, table, and session states
• Ensure transaction integrity and auditability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in real-time backend or online game server development
• Strong experience with stateful, event-driven systems
• Experience with high-availability architectures
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and WebSocket
• Programming experience in Java, Kotlin, or Go
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Fluent English for non-Mandarin-speaking candidates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time gaming or betting systems
• Background in regulated or high-integrity systems
• Production incident handling experience
