• Position: Senior Backend Software Developer

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems.
The role will work closely with technical and product teams on backend architecture, API development, system integrations, performance optimization, and production support.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-throughput RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop end-to-end backend features using PHP and Laravel.
• Participate in system architecture and technical solution design.
• Design and implement asynchronous workflows, queues, caching, and event-driven systems.
• Develop and maintain microservices and system integrations.
• Work closely with Product, Frontend, QA, and other technical teams.
• Participate in technical planning and development estimation.
• Conduct code reviews and support/mentor other developers where required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Optimize system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Work with Docker and modern development/deployment environments.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.

Requirements

• Around 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL.
• Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience building scalable backend applications and services.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous queues, caching, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and production troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Docker.
• Experience with Kafka, ClickHouse, FastAPI, or Elasticsearch is an advantage.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.
• Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage.
• Mandarin communication skills required.
• Good English communication skills.
