Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain primary security systems including Tenable Security Center, Trend Micro DSM Antivirus, Trend Micro Vision One Server & Workload Security, Trend Micro Vision One File Storage Security, Trend Micro Apex Central, Breach and Attack Simulation platforms, Splunk and related SecOps tools.
- Perform vulnerability assessment and compliance management activities, including scan operations, CIS compliance monitoring, report validation, remediation tracking, exception handling and coordination with infrastructure and application teams.
- Support server and endpoint security operations, including agent deployment, policy management, troubleshooting, health checks, upgrades and compliance monitoring.
- Execute security infrastructure projects including platform migrations, system upgrades, agent deployments, compliance baseline refinement and security tool enhancements.
- Monitor and respond to security vulnerabilities, zero-day threats, incidents, alerts and operational issues, including coordination of root cause analysis and remediation.
- Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and minimize operational impact.
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Identify and implement opportunities to use Ansible, Python, PowerShell, APIs and approved AI tools to streamline repetitive SecOps workflows and improve operational effectiveness.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and contribute to architectural and migration planning for security tools in enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.
- Provide after-hours support where required for critical security incidents, urgent vulnerabilities and production issues.
What are we looking for:
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, vulnerability management, endpoint protection or security tool management.
- Practical experience with Tenable, Trend Micro, Splunk, BAS, EDR/XDR, antivirus or comparable enterprise security technologies.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, CIS hardening, security baseline review, remediation tracking and patch coordination.
- Experience with system administration and security tool support on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Familiarity with security incident response, root cause analysis and production support procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent BAU, incident, change and project activities.
- Good communication skills for stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated experience using automation or AI-assisted tools to improve security operations is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CEH, ECIH, CHFI, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, Tenable or GIAC certifications, or equivalent security qualifications.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Bash or APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud security platforms, hybrid infrastructure, enterprise cloud environments and approved government cloud environments.
- Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, vulnerability management and compliance monitoring platforms.
- Experience with government security standards, applicable information security guidelines or financial sector security requirements.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and the ability to identify suitable AI and automation opportunities while maintaining governance and human oversight.
