Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of data analytics, BI, reporting, and data platform initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from requirements gathering and planning through solution design, development, testing, user adoption, and production release. The role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, solution/data architects, BI developers, product teams, and other technical functions to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, business-driven analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management and Agile delivery expertise with a solid understanding of business intelligence, reporting, data warehousing, and analytics concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Platform projects from initiation through production release.
• Gather and clarify business requirements, translate business needs into structured project plans, deliverables, milestones, and priorities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, architects, BI developers, and other technical teams to drive project execution.
• Facilitate project workshops, requirements discussions, sprint ceremonies, stakeholder meetings, and project governance sessions.
• Lead cross-functional teams across both business and technical domains to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Establish and maintain project plans, delivery milestones, RAID logs, status reports, and governance documentation.
• Apply Agile/SCRUM methodologies to manage delivery and continuously improve team execution.
• Identify project risks and dependencies early, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve delivery blockers.
• Manage competing stakeholder priorities and drive alignment on scope, timelines, business priorities, and expected outcomes.
• Work with technical teams to ensure analytics and BI solutions meet agreed business requirements, quality standards, and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate system/integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, production release, and post-release activities.
• Support user adoption by ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and change management where required.
• Track project progress, communicate project health and key decisions to stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure project outcomes deliver measurable business value and user adoption, rather than focusing solely on technical delivery.
• Operate independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience managing Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Warehouse, or Data Platform projects.
• Strong Project Management experience with end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams across business and technical domains.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, product teams, engineers, architects, and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex business and data requirements and translate them into structured plans and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, PSM, CSM, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale BI, analytics, reporting, or data transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with modern data platforms, cloud data environments, or enterprise data ecosystems.
• Experience working with BI/visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience in data-driven digital transformation or business process improvement initiatives is a plus.
