Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of application systems through comprehensive testing practices. The role involves reviewing requirements, designing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis

  • Review and understand business and technical requirements.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.

Test Planning & Design

  • Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.

  • Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Test Execution

  • Execute manual and automated tests across application modules.

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing during each release cycle.

Defect Management

  • Log defects with clear, detailed documentation.

  • Track and manage defects through to resolution and closure.

  • Work closely with development teams to verify fixes.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Provide regular testing status updates to stakeholders.

  • Highlight testing risks and quality issues.

  • Prepare test execution reports and maintain documentation in tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.

  • Follow QA standards and contribute to testing process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in software testing methodologies.

  • Experience with manual and automated testing.

  • Knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing.

  • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps).

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good documentation and reporting abilities.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
